Why have they visited our atmosphere?

(looking around) Yes I do believe in Aliens...
I think it would be arrogant of us to think WE where the ONLY ones...

They might just be travelers. They might be taking a cross-galaxy road trip. ;D

(I don't really believe in UFOs from outside our solar system. I mean, if they had the technology to beat the speed of light ruleything I imagine they'd be able to be a leeeetle bit more stealthy.)

Perhaps to look for fuel sources, food, territory, or maybe just out of curiosity. We did not have much reason to go to the moon, but we did anyway.

I think it's highly improbable but not impossible. I think they would visit us just because we are a successful species. If they have spacecraft they undoubtedly have curious scientists or something similar.

Perhaps they heard about that Creation Museum and wanted to see if it's as absurd as they heard it is.
