BECAUSE . . .
- ITS A "HERO" JOB
- IT PAYS HUUUUUUGE BUCKS
(if he is a specialist)
- IT SOUNDS GREAT TO OTHERS
and makes her look good.
- AND HE IS ALWAYS ON CALL AND NEVER HOME.
What more could a woman possibly WANT? - LOL!
It's the number one preferred profession for women who want to "settle down". And now you know why. They actually love "firemen" too . . . but they don't make as much money and don't dress/smell as nice.
They like lawyers too , but lawyers (even though they make very good money) need to LIE for a living. And they jhave to be GOOD AT IT. Women dion't prefer that from husband material. And it only takes dating a lwayer for a while for her to figure this out.
So dating a "doctor" is as good as it gets. And while SHE may not have done anything to EARN the doctor yet . . . she will talk about going out with him like she DID. Like she DESERVES being with him. Its really funny to watch.

In my opinion they are influenced by the prestige, the money and also, possibly the intelligence, the latter being the only good reason for dating anyone at all.
They know they will not see much of a husband, or boyfriend, who is a doctor. Perhaps they want breathing time. I wouldn't. A good relationship is time together daily, quality time.

I think it is because they think the doctor will make enough money and he won't expect them to work.
For me personally, I wouldn't want to marry a doctor because most of the women that are married to doctors end up being single moms even though they are married. The doctors work so much and have to devote so much time to their practices that they don't have enough family time.
I think it would be a lonely marriage being married to a doctor.

I don't. I've actually had the opportunity to go out with 3 during my life - and didn't care for them. Not because their doctors - the chemistry wasn't there... Even though I got a lot of s**t from my friends due to the fact that Dr's make lots of $$$ - I still wasn't impressed.

Well it's shallow to only want to date doctors. But most like them because they're smart and make a lot of money.

To many doctor TV shows, they are rich, they are smart and they been around the block many times with many ladies.They can get free drugs to not have 1 inch but a 190 footie.

well theres lots of reasons why women like to date doctors. 1 because they no that they are responsble cuz no doctor is irresponsible, 2 because they no there in good hands, 3 because doctors mostliky have money (and lots of it), and 4 because insurents will be taken care of...............Good Luck

Hello! doctors are hot and they make money usually nurses or people who are in the medical field usually date doctors or surgeons.

they're rich, and they can take care of the woman during medical emergencies. Drawbacks they sometimes don't consider, though, are big egos, the docs demanding job, their my-way-or-the-highway attitude, and the enormous potential for fooling around at work.
