I really don't like the idea of giving gifts for an engagement party when we know a wedding is in the offing because this is an engagement. If you are giving a gift for the wedding there should not be a need to give a gift for the engagement. It's like asking for 2 gifts for one couples' union. Just give them a card.

the appropriate component is to easily attend the social gathering. An engagement social gathering isn't in lieu of a bridal or wedding ceremony bathe, so traditionally, human beings do no longer purchase presents for an engagement social gathering. I believe the 1st submit nevertheless that in case you're to deliver some thing, a card with funds or a recent card interior may well be appropriate. That way, they are able to %. out what they want/want whilst they want/want it.

Hi,
Most engaged couples have a selection of items at various stores that they have picked out. You could buy one of them, or you can give them a gift card for x amount of money, either is proper, or if you know which is their favorite restaurant, you can buy a gift card or certificate for them to use. If you are on a budget, a gift card of $25.00 is more than adequate.

You don't have to take a gift to an engagement party unless you want to, a card would be sufficient.

Yes, you should take a gift, but it need not be as big as the wedding gift. A set of wineglasses, an elegant photo frame, something simple like that.

wine or coctail glasses are always nice to give as a gift. with a nice card of course! if they are coctail drinkers.
any kitchen or decorative item is always good to give as a gift. esp. if they are engaged. They would want something nice for their home.
