I am a very active person. I go to the gym 4-5 days a week and I have been doing this ever since I was in high school. When I was a senior in high school I was 5'4'' and 130 pounds. I am now almost 21 and am living in England. I have put on a lot of weight since I have moved here, yet I am working out the same and I am dieting the same. I am 150 pounds now and I cant figure out why I have tried everything from counting calories, cutting calories, cereal diets, diet pills, and so on. Nothing has been working. Does anyone have any advice on how to loose about 15 pounds and not kill myself doing it. I have tried everything and nothign is working. Is there some magic diet out there I do not know about? Please help! Thanks!

Have you been drinking a lot of tea and milk? If you want to gain weight I dont think there is a better remedy than drinking sips of milk all day.

Whenever I want to loose a few lbs I just stop eating around 5 pm. Its simple and it works.

find daily calorie intake calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours - it optimizes your metabolism)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have protein (lean meat, legumes etc) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min (ideally 45min because the first 20-30min body burns carbs and only then starts burning fat), light weight training (more muscle=faster metabolism)
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, pasta etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)

To successfully lose weight, you must carry out
a plan to balance your caloric intake with exercise.
Ideally, dieting should be done by eating a nutritionally
balanced, low-calorie diet and increasing physical activity.
