I brush often, flush often, also I get a very quick tartar buildup in my mouth for some strange reason. I get that tartar taste in my my mouth in like 2 to 3 hours. Why is tartar building up in my mouth so fast? Especially faster than it has in my life for some reason?

OK, so if you check my questions then you will see that I am a freak when it comes to fresh smelling breath and I NEVER well I could say never until about 2 months, ago leave the house without brushing my teeth. Even if it's mid-day and I already brushed. In my mind, being at my house means I have to brush before I leave but anyway, a few months ago I used listerine (no reason inparticular, just doing a little extra dental care) before I went to bed and for 2 days in a row, I got up, got showered and dressed and forgot to brush my teeth. Seriously, my mouth felt so fresh that I just forgot! So my suggestion is get her some Listerine. The blue stuff is the best but they make a Vanilla flavored one now that isn't as strong. If that doesn't work then dump her. It's really inconsiderate for her to expect you to tolerate her bad breath. Ewww gross, you are suppose to breath in that air that she is breathing out? How can you stand it? Just "Run Away, Run Away!"

chewing sugar free gum or sucking on sugar free mints and brushing your tongue are both good answers to your problem.
Any produce that contains sugar will create bacteria in your mouth which leads to bad breath.

Also, do not use any products , i.e. mouth wash , that contain too much alcohol. You need oxygen products. There is a Dr. on line that sells products for Halitosis. I have tried several.

I personally found diet, good oral hygiene and brushing my tongue works the best. Ask your Druggist for advice also.

I hate to sound cynical, but there are no cures for anything anymore. There is no money to be made in cures. The only thing you'll find are treatments (Scope, Crest, etc.)

A great cure is white strips. They get rid of tarter and whiten your teeth. They work so good.

You have the same problem that half of all English people have. Stop drinking too much tea and eating too many crumpets.

Your mouth may be dry, causing faster bad breath. Drink lots of water, and keep away from caffeine, smoking and other causes that may give you dry mouth. http://www.themouthdoctor.com/badbreath/26-curesforbadbreath.htm . It can give you relief.

Maybe there isn't enough saliva in mouth, keep it moist. From http://aches.in/badbreath.html
