Women don't want material things they want you to romance them.

Plan a special date. Bring her flowers. Write her a poem. Cook for her. Do something she likes. Go with her to get a pedicure. Anything...The more thought you put into your plans, the more she will like it.

She will appreciate you doing these things rather than going to a store to "buy" her something.

You will be the man...

Try to get her into a hobby that you are also in. If she likes it and wants to follow through, then pay for anything she'll need to participate and continue to do so as long as you can (if it is financially realistic; if not, compromise with her another way to do it).

Until then, get her flowers whenever, or dinner a couple times a week. Or, if you really wanna be the man, find out if she wants a puppy. If she does, buy one :)

Depends on your budget. From a girls stand on this:

Guys, girls really aren't as into money and jewels and flowers as you all think. Yes, they are lovely gifts, and make us feel special, but there are little freebees you do that make us feel 100 times more special. Try this:

Pamper her when she's under the wether. Don't let her cancel a date due to a cold, drop by and suprize her at home with chicken soup and read her a book!

Call her just to see if she is feeling okay today. Seems strange huh? Well it doesn't to us, and ironically she will most likely smile at the thought of your protectiveness of her health. Avoid asking "drilling" questions. "Where are you" "what are you doing" "who are you with" etc...

Rub her back without her asking. (But not if she doesn't want you to.) I love the feeling I get when my fiance just touches me just to touch me. It's like no other, and yes, it even makes me feel loved and special.

Comb her hair. Most girls like their hair combed, and will appreciate the gesture.

If you are both adults, and sexually active, suprize her with a candle lite bath for two. Don't talk, just listen, and hold her. If she wants to talk, talk, if not, just hold each other and be intimate.

Make her a lovely dinner, with roses, and wine, for two. Candles only makes a romantic setting and shows her your affectionate and caring side. Being in touch to her needs is not "unmanly like" it's simply making it known to her that you are, and you care for her, and appreciate her.

And if you can afford it, the jewlery and flowers add to the excitement. Make it a lovely evening for her, thats all that matters. Give her a whole evening or day of your attention, turn off your cell and if someone stops you in the park, or out on your day, explain that you are busy and will get to them as soon as you can.

THAT is what women want.

My boyfriend does little things that make me smile... He will do something for me around my house. You can offer to do something like that. Tell her that she has a day off of cleaning and clean for her.

You can get her a certificate to a spa.

My boyfriend will leave something in my shoe and I find it when I go to work. He does this when he comes over and I never know when he has done it. He knows I like to eat bananas and drink V8 juice so he bought me some. He knows I like pictures and to take them, so he bought me a photo album so I can put pictures of us in there. He is so sweet to do little things like that.

You could do a scavenger hunt to be able to find a card or a flower or something little you have gotten for her. That would be fun.

You could just take her to the park for a walk and show her something you like to look at. Share your love of something.
Have fun and Many good blessings sent your way.

Buy something when YOU feel you want to buy her something. Don't just buy because she is getting you all this stuff.

Sometimes girls tend to buy relationships with gifts .... and this is not a good thing. I am NOT saying she is doing this but it is out there.

For what? Birthday? Anniversary? Special event or achievement?
It makes a difference what the occasion is.

look at the stuff she already has and try to figure out what she likes. Does she listen to music? get a CD. Does she have any hobbies? get her something to go with it.
