It was Samuel. To obey is better than sacrifice, but often we will be called to sacrifice And remember Jesus sacrificed it all for us, unto death. Someone may be making sacrifice all the time, but still not obeying the full word of God, therefore it would count as nothing at all to God. Obedience is the key to all blessing and disobediece leads to curse, that theme runs thru the Bible. wages of sin is death. God never changed that., but we can now be forgiven for our sins, without the old sacrificial system. Jesus blood paid the price for us all so we dont have to suffer and pay as He did. But, even tho the gift of salvation is free, showing GOd we love Him and accept His free gift, requires obedience. God says so, so not up to me or anyone else to argue with that, or anything else He says. But, ppl would rather keep dong as they please and assume grace has it all covered. NO> Jesus came to die to set us free to live without sin, to be overcmers in this world and b e victorious with Jesus Chrsit. He did not come to say we could sin. God forbid was the reponse to that question. REMEMBER?
Without obedience to all of Gods word, there is no salvation. Not my words, but Gods. PPL say I judge by saying that. No, I only say what He said, and it is God that does the judging. But He tells us to warm ppl, and to speak full truth. The Holy Spirit is to do the convincting. So come on Christians, lets all no longer compromise on anything, and begin to speak up on what God says about obedience. Grace will not cover willful, deliberate , continued sin. that is the devil that teaches that, and we all ahve a choice who we hear and obey.ITs either God or the devil, no other choices.
