As a guest in one's home, is it socially acceptable to flatulate directly into the nose of the host's pet dog?

I think it's considered rude if you DON'T fart directly in the dogs face everytime you have to flatulate. Even if it's broken into 3-4 little ones and it takes multiple trips to the dog.

Yes, it's more than acceptable, it's expected. Dogs love farts, poop, all that. The dog would feel it's a compliment. Not wiping your butt properly is another proper thing at a guest's house. The dog will hang by you, therefore your host will think you love their pet. What a better way to say thank you!

oh, and to answer your question.....It's only socially acceptable if you do your host the honor of flatulating directly into their nose as well. If you don't, well...that's just being flat out RUDE!

I think so. Dogs are olfactory creatures, so be sure that your flatulence is odorous. In fact, the more noxious, the better. If you get caught, blame it on the dog.

I have had people stay with me...and when they DON'T flatulate in my dog's face I get really mad. I mean, thats just RUDE!

I think It would give It a better feeling to squat two inches apart from the nose. So to give It a light aroma.
