Absolutely--people are getting better and stronger all the time. More and more people are running longer distances.

Yes, as an experienced ultra-runner, I can say there is always someone out there that has the talent to be faster. The question is, if these talented runners have the intestinal fortitude to train to be champions.

if there is more monetary incentive for those types of distances, it will definitely be broken.

kenyans and ethiopians usually stick to marathons and half marathons because that is where is the money is at.
