What do you mean "let you go".I guess you are trying to say he loves you but you don't love him and he left you alone after he found out.One of the qualities of love is that it is not clinging,selfish ,or self-centered.It is caring, loving,and strives to make its object happy.Hence, if you look at it that way, you would have to say he loves you .But I suggest you talk to him if you find yourself attracted to him( which I think you are)and find out how he feels.
