Of course not...........but it's a fair question.
The Law had to be given to show us exactly what sin was and what God required of us.
It's the same with our country, you could never do anything illegal if there were no laws or a constitution.
The Law simply made us accountable to God and also was meant to show us our great need for a Messiah. Jesus came and fulfilled all of the requirements of the law for us and bought us a pardon if we put our faith and trust in Him..

Just like the many typical, hypocritical, monotheistic ignoramuses would be gambling, raping, murdering, and stealing if it weren't for their god-fearing mentalities; even a respectable Jewish leader revealed that to Richard Dawkins as he was being interviewed. The reason why the religious don't go about doing these things is because they are frightened of Yahweh.

No, but I am sure there were some of the 600,000 hebrews who followed him did, as a matter of fact some of these tried to stone him to death later in direct violation of the commandment they had been given.

yes they did. They did human sacrifice regularly according to the fundies I work with. Until the 10 commandments ruined all the fun.
