Greetings Creationman,
I enjoy responding to your questions. By now I probably sound like a broken record, but here I go again. I want to sort of talk about all of your statements. My intention is to give you a tool that may help you come up with your own answers.
First, your question is Christian love. Love is love. There is no difference in Christian love, Buddhist love, Atheist love, or any other love. Love is love is love. Love cannot be divided. Although most of us have been taught that there are various degrees of love, there are no levels to love.
For example, if someone prays for his "enemy", does that mean he is a Christian showing love? Is it possible that he is Buddhist? The question you would have to ask is what makes love Christian? Love is universal. It crosses all boundaries. Even terrorist love.
Second, do you see how you have immediately set yourself up for failure? You labeled yourself. I am a Christian. Please understand, I think that is awesome, but what you have done is set yourself up for disappointment. We label ourselves and these labels contain images. What I mean is we say, "I am Christian," and immediately we have an image of what a Christian is suppose be like, so when we, or someone else, is not like the image we have made, we become upset. Please understand, I know it can seem difficult not to label or judge things, but if we want to be free of upsets, we must train our minds to stop judging - ourselves and others.
Again, you label yourself as becoming anorexic. If you want healed, my borther, see the truth of who you are not who you think you are. Do not allow your ego to determine who you think you are (it really doesn't matter who the ego says you are. You are who God has said you are - period). Instead of following the ego, listen to the Holy Spirit and let the Voice for God tell you the truth of who you are. You are God's child. You have never changed your position. God created you perfect and perfect you remain, so please stop seeing yourself as anything else. Be healed.
Now as far as your friend, he is right. He is sick, but not because you made him sick. He made himself sick, but you cannot be as sick as him. He is crying out for help, for love. If he is sick, are you going to cast him out? Wouldn't that be just as sick? As a parent, there have been times my kids were sick. I didn't say, "Oh, your a bad child," and procede to throw my child out. Instead, I held him. Comforted him. Listened to Him. Nursed him back to health. If I would have cast him out, I would have to wonder if he was sick or was it really me? Your brother needs you. Don't be sick as well. Be whole and help him to heal.
My dear brother, I hope that I have helped you a little. A book I highly recommend is A Course In Miracles.
sending love,

That is very unfortunate.
James 2:14-17 came to mind when I read your question.
Being a Christian involves showing love to others, (John 13:35), Love is an identifying mark of a true Christian.

Obviously an immature Christian. Ask God to bring a brother to you that will stand next to you in the spiritual warfare rather than flee screaming at the sound of one bullet.

He did the wrong thing. It is very strange behaviour. Perhaps it is a personal issuse that you are not aware of? Maybe his sister died of it or something?
Anyway - it is very un-christian behaviour. He should have tried to help. So i will try instead :-)
I really dont know much about it .... sorry ... but i suggest praying about it. And please - this is very important - go and see a competent doctor. They can help.
Good luck and god bless :-)

Some Christians are good people; others are not. I would suggest going to a Christian counselor at your church and getting help.
