Today, I shoved my USB Mp3 player into my PC and formatted it and tried to transfer a file into it (.exe program). The transfer progress bar seemed like it was stuck so I cancelled the transfer and formatted it. Then I restarted my PC and removed the Player outta da PC. Then when i inserted it back again, the player is not getting detected at all. I'm sure it's a software problem because this all happened after i formatted it. Before wen i ised to connect it to the PC a light used to glow on the Mp3 player's screen and it showed that it was connected to the PC, but know, even that is not shown. The Mp3 player is accessible and i can record my own voice and listen to it also. There is no option of formatting it using the player so the PC is not detecting it at all! Someone pls help.

Well, does not seem to be a driver problem also. Only reason for it to happen is because the file system might be corrupted and thats why the Mp3 player is not detected.

If you formatted it, that means you wiped it out. I'm sorry for the bad news...

You may need a new USB connector (The cable) or try a different USB port. If that dosn't work, try on a friend's computer with old cable. That way you can tell if it's the computer, cable, or mp3 player.

It may not be connected correctly. Try reconnecting it and make sure its connected right.
