Are you asking 'which gym to go to work for'? It doesn't take a personal trainer to tell you that. Ask those you know who use a trainer. When you have found the majority of satisfied customers, then go talk to the owner, or whom ever does the hiring about your future with them. But make sure it is someone with a large satisfaction rating. It may be better to start with less commission with a good trainer than a high commission with a trainer with a poor reputation. Whatever you do, make sure you get it in writing.
When you choose one with a good rep, you can feel more at ease. But don't take the first offer. Check out the other reputable trainers. Tell them you are doing this, and their respect will be greater toward you when you do chose one of them.

your rate will depend on your level of experience, education and certs. your metropolitan area also plays a big factor on the rates that personal trainers may draw. not really enough info about your situation to give an accurate answer
