if so how long can you have it before it does go stale ?

As with any other herb you need to preserve it. The best is to place it in a moisture proof container and place it in the freezer. That way it will stay fresh pretty much indefinitely. only take out what you need at a time.

Lengthy exposure to air, heat and light will cause the THC to degrade. Properly stored, it will keep for as long as a year, sometimes more. Use a ziplock bag, close up all but an inch of the ziplock seal, and use your mouth to suck out as much air as possible before closing the last inch of the bag. Then place the bag in a glass mason jar, the kind with a rubber seal in the lid used for canning, or any jar with a good rubber seal. Store it in a cool, dark place. The less frequently the jar is opened the better, so keep out enough stash for a couple weeks use at a time so as not to be opening your jar too often.

I have never really referred to it as stale, but it does dry up if it is left out of an airtight container (still smoke-able though) in about a day or two. If you keep it sealed up then it will stay nice and fresh for weeks maybe. Or so people tell me.

Of course it does. THC degrades over time. The accelerates with exposure to light and air. Buds dry out. Not tasty.

Keep it sealed, in a cool dark place. I usually keep most of mine in the freezer, take out a few days worth, thaw that on a paper towel so the condensation doesn't make it soggy and put the rest back in the freezer.

of course. it will turn brittle and into dust. then youll have to pack a bowl. it could go stale overnight if its not in an airtight container. a little baby food jar works best. i use a 55 gallon drum.

stale....hmmmm it can get old and super dry and not have as much as the effect as a newer batch but what do i know....but what do i know i dont smoke so take what i have to say with a grain of salt.

Over time it will dry and lose potentcy. Depending on how it is stored, will determine how long it would take to lose potentcy, and whether it is bud or shake.

it gets dry, which makes it burn harsh.

time depends on what you're stashing it in. if you put it in a ziplock then put that in some tupperware, it'll be cool for a month, assuming it was sticky when you got it..

if you aren't on the west coast, i wouldn't worry; your bud's weak to begin with..
