Should I buy or lease? Should I get ABS? Is it worth it to shell out a few thousand more bucks to get better safety features and a longer, more comprehensive warranty? Is it worth it to save a few thousand bucks by getting a car which is 5 years old instead?

If you expect to trade the car in in a couple of years, then leasing may be OK, especially if you are short of money now, but have hopes of having more later. (Like a student) Otherwise Buy. Own it love it Keep it. Have you had ABS before? Do you drive on slippery roads? If not, you could save there. I believe that a 2-3 year old car is the best deal. You save 1/2 the price and still have an almost new car, that someone else had to work the kinks and bugs out. Good Luck

Economy Or fuel Mileage. I would sugggest looking into a hybrid and warranty. Cars seem to only brake down as soon as the warranty ends extended or not. Seriuosly though look at yahoo autos and the hybrids just seem to screem economy.

I would definitely get ABS.
Whether or not to lease depends a lot on how long you intend to keep the vehicle and how many miles a year that you put on a vehicle.
RE: new vs used - depends on which new car and which used car you are comparing

Don't lease. It's money down the drain.
