Actually, it's not sad at all. I'm guessing it's probably because you have been more focused on school and/or sports than on boys. When you really want a boyfriend, I'm sure you'll have no problem finding a good one.

Been there and done that. Met a few frogs when I was between 18 and 21 and then met my prince. We have been together ages . Well worth the wait and I was glad that I knew that I could be independent and single. You have your whole life ahead of you. Live it up with or without a guy

Silly to worry about this....alot of people focus on school or hobby (like dance) and do not date until much older than 17.
Truth is you are better off waiting and focusing on those things. Confident, accomplished, educated women are the ones in the best position to find the right guy.
Focus on you and prince charming will appear someday.
(I have friends in their mid-twenties in their first "real" relationships....)

no big deal! Some girls have had bf"s since they were 10, but by the time they 15, they are probably hoochies! My fist bf was at 16 and a half. I was a virgin till 18.

Sad? no it's not really, what is sad are the teenagers that will go with any guy, lose their respect and their virginity, end up pregnant and sit back one day a few years later and wish they had posted the question that you have just posted.

That IS sad. So- what's the problem? Too shy? Live in the middle of nowhere? Are the youngest of 5 Sisters whose parents believe in arranged marriages (and they're STILL trying to get rid of the 1st one)? No girl can be THAT unlucky...-there's gotta be a reason! Give us "clue"- and let's see what we can do for you... :)

That's great. You don't need a boyfriend at 17. Hell, you don't need to date till your in your mid to late 20's, have graduated college, and are independent.
That probably doesn't sound great to you now, but when you're older you'll understand.
