Depends on if you worship the way God approves. You know that God detests those who divide loyalties between Him and false gods.

You can also just use reason to know God would have a way He expects true followers to worship. A human CEO has a certain way he wants the company to go. Would he put up with some maverick who took his people in another direction? Of course not, so why should we expect any less of God.

If you have found the true religion, then most certainly you would want to cancell memberships in other false religions to not let God think of you as splitting loyalties. If it is another false religion, is doesn't matter.

I personally don't see the issue of "church membership" as we have made it today something that was present in the first century church. Thus, I would think it is not a real important issue. I think what matters is your own heart and relationship with God. There are many people who are members of a church and don't have a relationship with God. Thus, being attached to a certain denomiation or church body does is not a big issue, at least in my opinion.

In heaven there are Baptists, Methodists, Lutherans, Presbyterians, Pentecostals, Charismatics, Catholics, etc. Every Christian denomination will be represented. God doesn't believe in denominations. Thats a man thing, not a God thing. God cares about things like forgiveness, love, obedience to Him, repentance, humility. Denominations is not important to God.

In the Bible God established a "Church," which is talked about in the Gospels and in the New Testament. As Catholics we believe in "One Holy Catholic and Apostolic Church." Yes God wants you to serve him and love all the people in all the churches but God did set up a Church on earth where we can recieve sacraments, learn the truth, and become one with Chirst - in the Eucharist. God Bless you on your journey, You will be in my prayers!

God Almighty and Jesus Christ do not care about church roles, denominations, nationalities, creeds, or colors...but for those in life whose names are recorded in The Lamb's Book Of Life.

No He doesn't care about membership. Memberships are man made. There is nothing in the Bible about it. Yes He would be more happy that you are attending and worshiping.

god cares for the individual church member not one church alone becoz god cant really care for one church if that church is disobedient toward him and goes against everything he wants us to do.

so friend he cares for the individual no matter what church you go to at least you are worshipping him and following what he wants done
