Ground beef is fatty and can cause for you to have high cholestrol over time (when eaten on a consistent basis). Try switching to ground turkey, it's alot healthier and tastes almost the same.

It is generally a fatty meat - increased fat.
It is animal fat - increased cholesterol
If is finely cut up meat - lots of surface area for e-coli, etc.- and should be thoroughly cooked.
