Return the kitten, after finding out how the kitten was out in the first place. There are lots of dangers for small kittens out there. If this is not a proper home, you have every right not to return it. If the kitten is not a pedigreed animal, and it is healthy and old enough to be altered. Alter it then return it as a "favor".

Of course I would return the kitten or anything else. It's the right thing to do. Remember if you were the person with the lost cat you would hope that another would do whats right .

I would & have returned one. A few years ago a little American Shorthair wondered in our garage. I went & bought it litter & food since it was at night. The next day I asked the well informed neighbor if he knew of anyone who may have kitttens & he mentioned the questionable house up the block. I wasn't sure I wanted to give him back. The neighbor had called the grandpa who mentioned that the kitten was his granddaughter's favorite, so I gave him back.

My heart would probally not want to, but Yes, it is the decent thing to do. Know that old clushai about what goes around comes around. If you lost yours, you would want someone to return it. You could ask the owner if they would be interested in selling it to you. You will be proud of yourself in the long run for doing the right thing. Good luck..

Probably but I would try to come over and play with the kitten. I would get really attached to him.

The owner would probably be looking for their kitten if the sign was up, so, yes, I would return him/her to his/her rightful owner.

Absolutely!
Most people don't care enough to bother putting up signs. Someone who goes through the effort is missing their kitty. Put yourself in their shoes.
