These are the signs pointing out to Jesus's return no matter what Scientists has you believing.
As the sounds are heard, something astounding appears in the sky, perhaps a huge, glowing Cross. The Sign of the Son of Man. Wherever you are, you see it. It is bigger than the earth. It is brighter than the sun. Yet it doesn't hurt your eyes to look at it. In fact, you can't look away from it. Somehow, the whole world sees it at once. Out of the cross, something else appears. At first it looks like a bunch of brightly glowing clouds. But as it gets closer you can see that it is an army of angels, coming down through the sky toward Jerusalem. And at its head, mounted on a white horse; the King of Kings and Lord of Lords! The resurrected and transformed saints take off like eagles, going up to meet Him. The followers of the Beast weep. Thoughts?

"Noctilucent Clouds" are the clouds that you are alluding to.
"Nacreous Clouds" may be of interest as well.
There may be many reasons for it. HAARP, Rocket Exhaust, Pollution, etc.
In any case, I could see your case for concern. They appeared after Krakatoa in 1885.

"You do not know the day nor the hour" and "many will say there He is or Now is the coming and don't believe them" - second, read the rest of the scriptures and first, read the Scriptures - we don't know when it will come and most of what you added in is not Scriptural.
More important is to prepare your soul - to be ready at all times. Don't worry about the great tribulation or the second coming - worry about the readiness of your soul - it should be ready at all times - remain vigilant and watchful.....

each so often the A.B. are no longer consistently seen. perchance you had Polaroid glasses on. or perhaps they we re faint. The A.B. has produced photos at floor point to boot. it rather is stressful to declare. i'd get a good evening's sleep.
