I colored my hair probably 2 months ago and I've decided that I want to go back to my natural color, if I can remember what that is lol. I think it's a reddish brown. All my friends want me to go back to that because it's such a rare color and they love it. Any ideas of how long it'll take?

Depending on the color dye doesn't go away unless you used a level 2. You can go get something to strip out the color if you want but it may not strip out all the color. It really also dries your hair way out so you'd need a good conditioner.

If you wash with a dandruff shampoo everyday it will take out alot of the color (if you went darker) but there will still some in your hair.

You could wait & cut off the color.

If it's permanent hair dye, you'll have to wait for it to grow out. If it's semi-permanent it will take about 12 weeks to fade. If it's permanent, you can go to a colorist and have the dyed portion colored to match the roots and just let it grow out from there.

It depends on how often you wash your hair. It usually takes about 3 months if you wash your hair every other day.
