NO don't change your ways. You guys are few and far between. My hubby would say he has not finished last being married to me. (personally i am the lucky one). He is a real gent, opening doors looking after me and our son one hundred per cent all the time buys me flowers. You guys are the best a true Cary grant or Dean Martin. Old fashion polite guys will never be out of fashion. Keep it up!! xx

I don't see anything wrong with opening doors, flowers etc.... I believe it takes a mature women to appreciate these qualities in a man. There was a time in my 20's I wanted to do all these things myself, now in my 30's I want my man to be the man an I be the woman. My man has these qualities. So, my suggestion is to keep on with your humble, ol'fashion gentlemen ways and the right woman will come along. Don't change.

Don't change a thing. Personally I grew up with 4 brothers and they treated me like one of the guys, so when a man does hold a door I am truly embarassed and I don't know what to do, because I have always done it for myself. However, if I was dating that man I would feel so special. So continue being nice, there aren't a lot of gentlemen out there.

Ok man ur asking the wrong people. Gtta ask the guys cuz girls truly lie to u, lik ur mom says always treat girls nice and respectful. And no nice guys win in the end but u need to have a combination. U dont have to b a jerk but girls dont lik a wussie cuz in the end u just become friends. Stop doing wat ur doing, no flowers n only open doors once in awhile but do it in a carcastic n funny matter. Romance can only b used periodically so only give flowers to a girl every i duno 3 dates or so, cuz they will want to c more of ur romantic side. Last thing wenever a girl asks u for something say no in a non serious matter, n if u do get wat they ask only do it sometimes. Everything else is no. good luck

No...please God don't change your ways for the sake of the world. But remember that women do not like a push over--at the end of the day we want a MAN. It's ok to say no sometimes, it's ok NOT to say 'whatever you like' but take the initiative and be the man. It's a level headed position that's kind of hard to understand. We want the flowers, gifts, candy, even tears sometimes, but---not all the time and not everyday. You have to be sporadic and surprising, that way-she will never know what to expect. Good luck and please, tell some other guys how to do it!

No you are doing nothing wrong. I love a guy to treat me with respect. My husband always opens doors, lets me go first and so on. As for flowers what woman doesn't love to get flowers?

I love true gents who still open doors etc to a lady. Am yet to meet one, are you a gentleman? If so I think you are doing it the right way. Don't change your ways, it's so hard to find a good man!! Where are you? I need a man to treat me nice, like a princess.

Some girls feel a little silly sometimes but i love all that stuff lol but get to know what the girl loves and focus on that making her happy it's the small things in life that makes us happy like remembering to pick us a birthday card up some something sweet written inside or putting the toilet seat down

Not at all. My guy's a bit traditional and romantic when it comes to things like that and I love him for it. The very first date we went on he greeted me with a kiss on the cheek, opened doors for me and insisted on paying for everything. He still does (well, except for the cheek thing!). If you want a nice girl, be a nice guy.
