my 3 year old loves the stuff, we play with it before every shower, we draw, make shapes, and letters. the other day i bought some corn meal and she played with it for days, i just put it in a large cake pan or cookie sheet, and added some food coloring or a pack of koolaid, just make sure they don't eat it. when they are done playing with it for the day, put it in a plastic baggie and put it in the fridge for the next day. another fun and very messy thing , is corn starch add very little water at a time, till you get the consistency you want, and the stuff is sooo fun to play with i even love that one. i have some websites that are awesome full of ideas. have fun

some young little ones have tactile sensitivity. Its no longer a brilliant deal yet super which you have have been given known this so as that he won't be subjected to something that motives him soreness. for sure do no longer tension him to take area in any events that make him uncomfortable, confirm he has different suggestions in case you plan events including those that this new child might freak out approximately. think of approximately it like all different sensitivity. you does no longer tension-feed a new child jello understanding that the feel creeps them out and upsets them adequate to lead them to cry, and you does no longer situation a new child with gentle listening to or who scares surely to a stay musical overall performance or loud dvd. comparable factor right here. Now which you're attentive to his sensitivity, save him risk-free from unsightly stories.

They do make soap that looks like shaving cream just for kids so you might want to try and find that bc it would be safe for your 5 year old.

Yes it is safe. I worked in a daycare and we use it on the table and the kids love playing in it. Just make sire that they don't put in there face or mouth. Just let them go crazy with the stuff.

so long as they are not allergic and not going to get it in their eyes or try to eat it. they use the unscented kind at daycare sometimes to play with.
you can color some water with food coloring and then freeze it and play with it in the tub
finger painting is messy.

markers/gluing

Yes it's safe. You can give them a little food coloring and let them "paint" in it.

Don't let him eat it. It is ok for the skin. I would get one for sensitive skin.
Coolwhip may be more fun and you can eat it. Plus you can use it on your husband later for more fun.
