They didn't push religion on anyone,,,they preached in Open Air areas, (outside) so anyone that wanted to listen could join in.
It's what Jesus was here for...to preach and die on the cross for our sins.

Most of the people have never been forced into a religion. Especially not in the ancient times. They simply needed a religion, because at those times THAT was the only way they were able to grasp things and events. The question is, was it a ORGANIZED religion, or a free one, like it was the case with the druids, wizards, witches and others like them. The problem has always been, that an organized religion had the power of imposing on the people every thing that was recognized as "true" by it, and people had to accept it whether they would like it or not. But most of them did like it, because they simply needed it. Today most of the people do the same, only they have replaced God with other "High Instances", like the science, for instance.

They were not "pushing" religion. For one, they are two different beings-I think Moses was a man working his way up the spiritual ladder and Jesus was already up there and was sent down here to teach. We are the ones who stained His name by labeling him and referring to The Teachings as "religion". Whether one follows the Hebrew path, the Muslim,Christian, Buddhist, Hindu path, etc., these are all just different roads that arrive at the same place. None are superior to the other-Just slightly different because WE are all slightly different and there have been different teachers sent in at different times for different cultures. We are the ones who divide ourselves because our faith is not strong so we feel we must defend OUR GOD.

In either case, they never pushed anything on people. In especially the ministry of Jesus, He spent His time teaching to only those that took the time to listen. Never once will you find a situation in either story where they pushed anyone to believe the way they suggested people believe. Everyone who has ever had a true conversion to Christianity has done so on their own, and by their own choice. You can't except God and Jesus into your life any other way. You might go to church because someone made you go, but there is no conversion without a personal choice to believe.

I do not think it was pushing at all. If the Jews after the exodus did not want to follow Moses they did not have to. During their journey they learned about the faith that they had forgotten during their time in Egypt. Jesus was not pushy at all, if you notice he never coerced anyone into following him he preached and people followed it is not different than today listing to someone preach a new faith and wanting to follow that person. Jesus preached in the open and did not force anyone to listen.

Christianity didn't exist until the death of Jesus. Jesus was actually trying to reform Judaism, not create another religion.
(I learned this in a theology class a while ago). Jesus was still a Jew when he died. Christianity was founded by Peter. Hebrews are descendants of tribes and practice Judaism so I don't think of it as quite the same in terms of pushing. Was Paul pushing Christianity on people? You bet. Look at all the letters he wrote.

1.) Jesus didn't push ANY sort of 'religion'. 'Jesus came to earth preaching the truth about the coming Kingdom of God'.(And very much about 'having a personal relationship with Himself and God, our Father').
2.) Moses, on the other hand, was designated, (along with some others of the Old Testament, especially), to actively administer the 'government of God' here on earth.
Neither came 'pushing religion'. On the contrary, they both only promoted the Word and the Will and the Ways of God.

Absolutely not. Most of Jesus' teachings were done in a conversational manner... he is wise. He knows that people are most open to learning when simply conversing and not preaching. Jesus was only trying to help people 'live each and every day' without the delusion of the physical world and the delusions we men constuct.

All I could desire to declare is that of course you do not have self belief 2 Timothy 3:sixteen,17. yet in spite of this that grew to become right into a letter of Paul. who're you condemning? The apostle Paul, Jehovah's Witnesses, all who declare to be christians and have self belief that Paul's letters are a valid portion of the inspired know God? btw- i'm one in all Jehovah's Witnesses and that i've got self belief the know Jehovah God. i'm a follower of Christ. What do you think of of Peter, John, Mark, Matthew, Luke, Jude, and James? i'm very pretty much afraid to invite.
