Your both wrong, The Army and Marine Corp. are 2 extremely honorable services to serve through and one cannot be declared any worse then the other because they both do their part to protect people like you and your friend.

I have worked with all the branches, even know I am in the Navy. I know the Army is deployed for extended periods of time, and do many many tours in Iraq and Afgainstain. The Marines take their job serious and live by a code of conduct that is above the rest.
Both services have their pros and con about them and that can be said for the Navy and Air Force also. If you really want to know, check out the web sites for each branch and talk to people in your area that are in the service. Talk to the recruiter's and find out for sure.. But if I had to guess I would have to say the Army due to the long deployments that they are doing at this time, during this time of war.

They pay the same. As for which one is worse it depends upon personal preference.
The Marines are different from the Army. The two can be compared in some aspects but not enough to make a real decision. If you go by Training- the average Marine undergoes a longer more intense Boot Camp and Combat training course after Boot camp than the average Soldier.
So by that aspect The Marines would be better. But there are a lot less Marines than there are Soldiers.

as a memeber of the Army anturally one would expect me to say the Marines. They would be right of course. But my argument has nothing to do with physical requirements job or anything like that. Both branches have a great job to do with very little thanks. Both have a proud history. The Army has the advantage in one way and that is bonus money. The Marines dont have the bonuses that the Army has. The marines do have the advantage of more places to go because when you are assigned to fleet duty you go where the Navy goes. I have to side with the money and training. In the Army you get to choose your training and based on certian selections you can get lots of bonus money just for choosing a career path.

Depends on your definition I suppose, but really it would be the Navy or Air Force.
Both have too many people in support positions that do little if anything to support the few people that actually do any work. The Navy has the most entry level positions, but once you are in, it can be difficult to get into a good job or get the training necessary to move up. Same in the Air Force. Only the Army and Marines can guarantee you training and work experience.

You both suck.
The Army and Marines are the best. All branches are good.
Why don't you serve 3 years in each and then tell me which one is better.

I am retired Navy. Dealing with all the services, the leadership in those services realize that the people are the most important resource. Sometimes the mission of those services cause life to be difficult, but the people are proud of what they do. In the navy, the leadership consider the equipment (ships) to the most important resource, and accordingly treat their people as a secondary resource. People throughout the navy tend toward being frustrated and unhappy in their jobs, and often treat each other poorly.

Yes. I can see where gutless f***s such as you and your friend might be confused. If by "worst" you mean tough standards and actually do something related to combat, it is a difficult decision. Being the f***tard p*ssies you seem to be, it would make sense to stick to the chair force or navy. In fact, I would think both the Army and Marine Corps would thank you for keeping your worthless *sses away from either. Aim high, p*ssy.

what do u mean by worse? it all depends on your experience. army, navy, airforce, and marines all go off to war at some point. coast guard you have to volunteer for because they are more of homeland security. if y ou are talking about training then it depends on what program you are taking. from what i know navy seals has the toughest program and then the coast guard rescue swimmers have the second toughest. so there is really no way to say which one is harder or worse.
