Agree 100%!

God is best understood when you have a one on one relationship with our creator.

God is not man made dogma designed to control the masses through fear. God is about knowledge and enlightenment.

Agree… however love is only an aspect related to self-realization, the first step to the path of consciousness. Religious ‘teachings’ manage to conceal the truth successfully for thousand of years. How can one love what is unknown and unseen, how can one be at peace when religion preaches a god of wrath and punishment? It is essential to know that we all are gods by definition. God is experiencing the physical world thru the human ability to perceive and transmit thoughts and emotions. God’s favourite food is consciousness….

The only way to God, is through Jesus. Knowing that all are sinners, and to be born again.

Now there was a Pharisee named Nicodemus, a leader of the Jews. He came to Jesus by night and said to him, "Rabbi, we know that you are a teacher who has come from God; for no one can do these signs that you do apart from the presence of God." Jesus answered him, "Very truly, I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God without being born again." Nicodemus said to him, "How can anyone be born after having grown old? Can one enter a second time into the mother's womb and be born?" Jesus answered, "Very truly, I tell you, no one can enter the kingdom of God without being born of water and Spirit."
– John 3:1-5, RSV

"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life." (John 3:16, NKJV)

"Draw near to God and He will draw near to you . . . Humble (yourself) in the sight of the Lord and He will lift you up." (James 4:8a, James 4:10, NKJV)

I agree that that is the truth. Setting aside all forms of dogma, and coming to understand that the core essence of who we are leads us to a greater understanding of how powerful love is, and offers us all the hope in the world. That is true faith without blindness.

It will depend on *who* is preaching the "love and peace*. As we can see everyday, apparently "love and peace" doesn't mean the same for all "believers". One thing is to say that we believe in "love and peace" and another very different thing is to actually behave like it.

Actions speak louder than words.

it's true the only way to peace is to know god individually
and it's not true to worship man other than the lord jesus.
people who worship man are not with peace with themselves

"love" is too positive. have a relationship at all! whatever kind of.
you can be with god also by critisism. be authentic! because god disregards all of the hypocrits. but god loves all those who sincerely look for truth. he/she will help them and save them in exchange. can we really love god? are we that good? but one can do something to be blessed one way or the other.
one should fulfill his dharm or duty, this might be fighting as well. and by performing ones prescribed duty, one can gradually develop love for god. the other side is, to radically surrender to the will of god and leave behind all duty for this:
"give up all kind of religion and surrender unto me! don´t be afraid! for this i will liberate you then from all kinds of sin!"
(bhagavad-gita 18.66)
