I just got a job at one company with 401K plan after couple years layoff. Can I keep both IRA and 401K or I have to roll over fron IRA to 401K?

You can have both an IRA and a 401(k). Congratulations on the new job!

you can keep them both. But you can't contribute to both. If you contribute to a 401k you are precluded from making a pre-tax contribution to an IRA.

You can keep them separate. You can have as many accounts as you can manage.
