Yes. The tradition for the summer solstice is that children must be out of school to work the fields for the next two months.
Religion is tradition/tradition is religion, so this still applies even though kids forget what they learned for 10 months in the 2 months of summer vacation and hardly any of them have fields to work in.

The Wiccan religion celebrated all the solstices and the equinoxes. I believe other pagan religions also celebrated the solstices and equinoxes but this is the only one I can think of offhand.
Incidentally, when the Christian church began to convert pagan communities pagan holidays were absorbed by the Christian religion and given different names and sometimes different reasonings although the correlations can still be evident.
Remember that Constantine and the group he appointed to decide what books & gospels would be used in the Christian Bible also decided on what days would be holidays or appointed worship days.
Some examples....
Saturday was the original Sabbath as still practiced by Judaism. It was changed to Sunday, because more of the pagan religions were already celebrating the Sabbath on Sunday as it was literally the "SUN" day, in honor of the Sun/Sun God.
Samhain (pronounced Sow-en) is Halloween.
Beltane, May Day- pagan celebration of Spring was moved to Easter, and the Christians added into the story the resurrection of Jesus Christ. This time period (including Good Friday & Ash Wednesday) also corresponds with the Jewish celebration of Passover (Psach). In this way Christians replaced Passover as well as Beltane.
Yule- Winter Solstice- became Christmas, even Christian scholars will tell you that Christmas is very likely not Jesus's actual birthday.
The list goes on and on.
Probably more info than you wanted, but I hope you found it interesting at least.

Mine does. I practice Daemonolatry. Today is the day we honor the Sun and our fire deity, Flereous. I will likely go home tonight, put out an offering, light a candle, and acknowledge the fact that without light and warmth - this planet would be barren and void of all life.

Which religions?
The Catholics invented St. John's day, but the Pagan religions had a great many ways to celebrate the day the "Sun stands still".
From balefires to rolling wheels and timbers and so on, there have been many celebrations.

Globalism and Commercialism tend to routinely sell plastic beach accessories and mainstream these products via sides of city walls and bus billboards.

Many do, some don't. Each celebrate in their own way so you'd have to be more specific.
