I like tapeworm therapy. You don't like it at first, but it grows on you.

Roundworms work much better, they used to sell pills back in the 40's. The only thing is, roundworms eat all the fat, but they also eat all the nutrients your body needs. So yes, you will be skinny, but also sick and malnourished. They are also hard to get rid of, and the medication they put you on makes tons of worms come out of your butt. I don't even know how you would get roundworm eggs. Unless you lick a dog's butt or something. And tapeworms wouldn't be a dietary supplement because they are not supplementing your diet.

As a healthcare professional, I'm recommending plain old diet and exercise. I don't recommend worms.

I remember years ago my mother reading an article in the paper about some people who were arrested for selling diet capsules containing tapeworm eggs. Uggh! Tapeworms will make you lose weight. They will also make you very sick. They can leave your digestive tract and migrate to muscle tissue. They break apart into segments, and each segment turns into another tape worm. They can make you very anemic, etc. etc. They are also very hard to get rid of--some even require surgery to remove. You need to google "tapeworm" and look at a few pictures of them. Then, there's no way you would consider doing this.

I actually heard a story in a grade school health lesson (can't remember the name of the sailor right now) of an old sailor that swallowed a tapeworm larvae so he could eat whatever he wanted.

He eventually killed the tapeworm with some concoction of what he had eaten. It ended up measuring over a yard.

No. Tapeworms can cause serious problems when they move to other parts of the body besides the intestines. And they will move. See http://www.healthline.com/galecontent/tapeworm-diseases. You won't necessarily lose weight; I have known chubby people with 3-foot tapeworms in them.

I don't think you really want that now do ya??!!
the best way to lost weight and keep it off is to start eating healthier, and walking for exercise. and don't try and make all the changes overnight because you'll just burn out and give up. do things slowly at first, and work up to doing more.
start by making healthier changes in your diet. you can do that by adding more fruits and veggies to your menu, and eating more lean cuts of meat. and walk. just a ten minute walk per day will make a difference, then work up to longer walks, and I promise you'll see results.
and stay off the scales! they are not your friend! just pay attention to how your clothes are fitting you.
and if you love salads like I do, don't go for the totally fat free dressings! use the reduced fat variety! I love ranch dressing, and I just found my new favorite brand! hidden valley ranch just started making a Light version of their original ranch dressing. I tried it, and it tastes GREAT!!!!!
you will never know that it's Light, but it is!!!!!
you can lose weight and keep it off. just remember, you didn't gain the weight overnight, so don't expect to lose it overnight.
Best Wishes and Good Luck!

What even works better is swallowing leaches.

For faster results use as a suppository.
