I have 3 weeks until I go away and I have already started working out but I've been treating myslef alot so does anyone know any easy,effective and quick diets to help me tone up and get the perfect beach body for this summer? PLS HELP! xxx

The weightloss guidelines say to lose no more than a pound a week. So three weeks = three pounds. More than that - especially in the summer heat - could lead to dehydration (I had a cousin who spent a few days with IV's in her arms during a trip to Europe - trust me this isn't what you want).

Toning up is a completely different issue. You can build a lot of body tone in three weeks if you are dedicated to a program. Join a couple of fitness classes - one that is weight orientated (or if you are like me and the thought of weight training is boring - wall climbing is good strength training too) and cardio 2-3 times a week.

You will gain muscle (and thus may even weight more) but will lose inches and look leaner.

If you choose a crash diet, you choose to screw up your metabolism. What happens in a nutshell is your body says "I am starving" and gets really efficient at storing any fat. So once the diet is off - boom - you pack on the pounds.

Any pills, potions, or magic diets will lead you down a destructive path and possibly wreck your metabolism making it easier in the future to gain weight.

A healthy weight is important, but needs to happen over time. I am sorry but there are no short-cuts on this one.

Before anyone can attempt to give any vague diet advice as to how to get in shape in 3 weeks for your perfect beach body, I'd like to know where you currently are at in terms of weight, body fat %, and what areas of your body you want to focus on the most. If you want vague advice, what most celebrities do isn't very healthy, but is effective to give you a tight physique. Mostly what celebs do is starve themselves of carbs (less than 100 grams/day or one piece of bread) for up to 2 weeks, and exercise at least 8 hours/week. They cut out all simple sugars mostly found in sodas, candy, and creams, and will stay away from any oily foods. The only fats that they take in are fish oils (high in omega-3). Almost everyone is dissatisfied with their midsections, so in order to tighten that up, improve your eating habits first, then incorporate core exercises into your daily routine. That doesn't just mean doing crunches, sit-ups, leg lifts, leg throws, etc. but also watching your posture throughout your cardio workout, and even in you strength exercises. Make sure if you're doing intense workout, you have enough carbs to get you through the workouts w/o feeling nautious, tired, or dizzy. Like I said before, cutting out carbs is unhealthy and they should account for at least 50% of your caloric intake, but for appearance purposes lowering carb intake is a risk you take. Consult a personal trainer at your nearest fitness center. Make sure they are ceritified and ask them for testimonials from past clients. Good Luck and have fun at the beach!

Try the "Extreme Fat Smash Diet" by Dr. Ian K. Smith (from celbrity fit club. It is a 3 week, healthy diet plan that includes daily meal plans and exercise recommendations. I wouldn't say it was "easy" but with discipline and determination, you could loose about 4 pounds per week, in a healthy way.

I would cut out all snacks and assure that you cut out all the sugar in your diet. That should help considerably. If you drink diet soda go for diet rite.There is no sodium. Have 1 meal a day around noon instead of 3 a day. Good luck.

Raw juice fast. You don't have to have a juicer. A blender will work. Take raw fruits and vegetables (look online for raw juice recipes) and make them into juice. Buying juice won't work because of the additives. Add apples and blueberries to make your vegetables juice taste better in the beginning. By doing this, you supercharge your diet with nutrients, and your body releases fat like crazy. Go vegans!

ok well ...if u starve youself ur metablisom will be very low and you will not be able to burn calories...so drinking lots of water helps on diets..but remember the most weight that you can lose in one month is 10lbs and that is a lot...you lose a lb. by burning 3,500 calories more that you eat...so if u eat 1,000 calories then burn 4.500 calories that day, you will lose 1 lb...but you need to have a calorie deflict of 800calories a day (the different between the number of calories u burn and how many u eat) and as for toning...just do weight lifting and crunches each day...lots of conditioning..1,000 calorie/day diet...and work out a lot..stay active and you should lose weight a healthy way

The stress of a high credit card bill landing on the doormat usually helps reduce eating lol

Stick to fruit and veg and no processed food at all. Go for nuts, dried fruit and yogurts etc to snack on too.

Dont starve because it puts your body into shock, and any food you eat turns to fat.

Dont Skip Breakfast. Have some fruit or something. it quickens your matabilism.

and some good crash diets are...
The cottege cheese diet.
and the Cabbage soup diet is good.

And when your bored do some exercised or go on a bike ride.

I'm sorry to tell you this but getting in shape doesn't happen over night. There are so called quick methods that aren't safe...just get plenty of exercise, eat right and don't over eat. GL.
