God gave Ezekiel the difficult responsibility of presenting his message to ungrateful and abusive people. The Lord told Ezekiel not to be afraid, but to speak his words, whether or not the people would listen. He also wants us to tell the Good news, whether it is convenient or not (2 Tim 4:2)

God commanded Ezekial to speak the truth in boldness, he was to speak exactly what the Lord had wanted him to say, god did not want Ezekial to worry if they understood them or not just to say what he wanted him to say God knew that they were a relbellious nation and would not take heed to what God would say through his prophet. But when we make the bible personal then God would tell you to speak out in boldness the words he wants you to say dont be afraid of them for they wont listen but you are the watchman and need to protect your blood go to ezekial 34. I hope this helped you understand

Ezekiel 2:7 You shall speak my words to them, whether they hear or refuse to hear; for they are a rebellious house.
Ezekiel was sent to the people of Israel who had strayed from god and displeased him. Thats what the passage is about. Basically this is the part where god is telling him his mission and what he expects. Like many parts of the bible it can be taken out of context and applied to other things and if this is done then it looses its meaning and becomes just words.

Ezekial 2:7
And thou shalt speak my words unto them, whether they will hear, or whether they will forbear: for they are most rebellious.
Tell those the wonders of God and his salvation, whether they belive it or not, because they are not willing to follow the law....
To answer your question regarding you....i would need to know the reference in which you were told to read it....

(I included the verse so no one after me will have to look it up)
I do think we have to share the Truth, but let's be sweet about it!

It is the Same as.....
(2Timothy 4:1-to-4) I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom;
(2Ti 4:2) Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.
(2Ti 4:3) For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;
(2Ti 4:4) And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.

Ezekiel 2:7, from BibleNet:
"You must speak my words to them, whether they listen or fail to listen, for they are rebellious."
In other words, preach the bible, whether people want to hear you or not. But please don't. It's annoying and people who aren't already believers will be annoyed. And, following the Golden Rule, if you annoy people, you should yourself like to be annoyed and expect the same in return.
