Okay now that I'm over my question being deleted...If man is imperfect under the law then we all fell short of a righteous God then God could not simply overlook our sin...If God is to be a righteous God..

Jesus was perfect. Only God is perfect.
Jesus did say no man comes to the Father but through the Son.

Smiley If Islam says a man can be totaly righteous without sin who do you know that has manged this?

2007-06-21 09:37:28 · update #8

Most answerers agree that no man with the exception of Christ is without sin. Christ himself taught that only God is good. If this is so then God gave man the law knowing man would fail...stands to reason if God had a plan for us he had a plan of salvation.

Muhammad the true word of God does disagree, however for the sake of arguement let's assume that some men could be perfect and sinless, Doesnt that mean that all men being created equal would be required to be perfect and sinless? If Allah thought Muhammad was without sin why does the Qu'ran have Muhammad ordered by Allah to pray for forgiveness?

2007-06-21 09:44:43 · update #10

Muhammad Again Muhammad's understanding is not in agreement with the teachings of the prophets before him. The trinity is ONE God...original sin caused sin and death to enter the world and we all do surely sin and all men do die.

Muhammad...Where in the Qu'ran does it state that Muhammad was sinless? Why does Allah command him to pray for forgiveness?

No... but it's not really about the law. No one can do it on their own. Christ was the real deal. The difference between God and humans is so great that even this set of laws can't be followed to such a holy standard.

But that's not the question, is it?

Your real question is, how does it violate terms of service?

Good question.

A man can live a sin-free life, obeying ALL of Gods laws, but remain imperfect,,,because without redemption, repentance, without accepting Christ as his Savior,,,he is imperfect. But ,,,to say one is perfect is to compare onself with God,,,which is a sin.

NO>>>

Most people haven't got a clue as to what really is "God's law" having confused the law of Moses for it.

As far as being perfect, read the end of Matthew chapter 5.

Yeah, and that man was Jesus. I don't think anybody can be perfect all through life, you going to lie and you going to take something that isn't yours. People can't be perfect only God is perfect!

Perfection is highly under-rated.

Man can not fully conceive of total perfection. Jesus was sent as a form of perfection we could understand and emulate.
