Oh my....I can prattle on about it....

one biggy was when it came to our house...we lived there for 10 yrs and we were supposed to buy it... we were flat broke...but I knew we would get it no one believed me -- not the people in town, not our families-- not our friends....and it happened---sheer will-- and --positive thinking
after devastating losses...death and destruction every where in our lives...we came through because we knew it would be ok..it had to be....

I was told I would not get pregnant with out fertility treatments...I wouldn't do 'em....but I believed we would have a baby...and we did

Yes positive thinking can work. Keeping in a positive frame of mind. Negative thinking can work, too-- self-fulfilled prophecies, and all that jazz.

It doesn't mean you don't actually have to do anything, though. Like you probably won't pass a test if you didn't read the chapters, no matter how positively you think.

You can't say positive thinking didn't work for you if it was the only work you put in toward your goals.

It's about keeping your mind ready, sharp, focused on your goals. It's better and will help you more than being negative, closed-minded and feeling insecure.

Well, positive thinking makes you feel positive then makes you act in a positive manner so you get positive results. And if you think negative, then you feel negative, and you get negative results. They both work. Pretty simple.

If you are not feeling, acting positive, then you are not thinking positive either. Maybe you think "Ok, I think negative thoughts most of the time, but what if I think positive, and it still does not work? Then wouldn't I feel even worse" or something, and that part is still negative.

When you get over those "negative parts" and you are %100 positive in your thoughts, that's a powerful thing because then you feel and act %100 positive too. And you get better results.

The last mile of a marathon I ran where my right hamstring was throbbing in the last mile. My focus was holding my body together until I crossed the finish line, because I would not have been able to finish if it popped.

Crossed the line in 2 hours, 50 minutes and the hamstring popped the second I hit the finish line. Something worked in my favor that day and I believe it was that positive outlook in a dire circumstance.

Yes....it works everyday.

I could sit back and find something to feel sorry for myself about......but I try never to go there.

I'd rather look at all the positive wonderful things I have in my life.....and so 99.9% of the time I'm happy.
