We want to get married at a couples only resort...any suggestions from anyone who has been to one??

Yes to the Sandal's Resorts if you can afford a pricey Honeymoon. You can even do a Honeymoon Registry to help with the cost. They have several locations in the Caribbean area. Or for a little cheaper there are some nice resorts in Mexico. We did our wedding at the Riu Palace in Playacar (near Cancun) and it was spectacular!! Our travel agent did most of the work with making the arraignments and she did a very complete job.
My travel agent meets or beats any Internet deal and gives you an extra layer of protection that you lose if you book directly with the Resort or Hotel company.
Call Barbara at: 281-692-1234, she's open every day (leave message if she's out). She will also give you a great Gift - a special "deluxe" personalized Honeymoon Album for photos and souvenirs. Honeymoons are her speciality, she can give you lots of advice on a destination wedding.
Plus with a travel agent you can buy independent travel insurance which is a lot better than the limited (but pricey) insurance the resorts may offer.

Sandals Resorts are AMAZING. I've beet to two. Royal Bahamian and Antigua. Both excellent. I've heard St. Lucia is phenominal. Bahamas is great though and since it is the one closest to the states, it is less expensive than some of the others. They have all sorts of packages. Most everyone there (guests) are either there on their honeymoon or there to get married. .

I haven't been to one but... asuming you and your groom are the only ones... go to Cancuun. At the Royal Solaris Carribe there is a beautiful open garden area with a waterfall and plants... its just perfect.
The priest married a couple right their... (That's how I got the idea). A man played the guitar... very, very romantic.
Sometime in my lifetime I want to take my wife back their and marry her again... right their... just like that.
Simple... eligant... perfect. Just you and him... no distractions.
And then... go play and enjoy each other for the rest of your lives!!!!!
