Just last week I saw someone with skin cancer due to sun tanning. It's just sad. The fairer the skin, the more damage. Use a sunless tan lotion. The Loreal medium tan is really good. It looks very natural. Before you put it on, exfoliate really well. Then rub body lotion on your knees, feet, elbows. This way these parts don't get too dark. Then rub the sunless tanning lotion, rub really well and barely rub on the parts that you used lotion on. Wash your hands really well! Use it every day until you get the deepness you're looking for, then use 2x a week. Use a good UV lotion when out in the sun. It'll keep the wrinkles at bay.

The best thing I would do is rock the tan you have and use a good sun block to keep you safe from the sun's harsh rays and eventually it will even out.
But if you are like me and can't dream of having to live with funky tan lines. You can go to a spray tanning salon and have them even you out. I would also say you could use an at home sunless tanner but you have to be very careful and know EXACTLY what you are doing. It's best to stick to the professionals. After that use a good sun tanning lotion with a higher SPF on your tan parts and a lower one on your white parts. Lay in the sun 25 -30 minutes a day and you should be looking great in about a week. Just make sure not to burn, you could peel and then you it could worse then when you started. Good Luck

You don't want to tan at all without sun screen. The suns UV rays are incredibly dangerous without some form of skin protection so you shouldnt go out in the sun without any on. Use fake tan if it worries you but I'm sure you would much rather be pale than have skin cancer. Anyway if you tan whilst using sun screen, then the tan will last longer and possibly be more subtle whereas if you burn or just tan immediately the tan will probably not last for long, so sun screen has benefits all around if you ask me.

well first off tannign with baby oils is not good to do you want to tan with a bit of spf in it so you dont get burned. Try some tanning lotions that say deep bronze on it. Everyone will tan differently so you can be at the darkest you can get. Then again you can just be one that dont tan as fast as others. so dont try to speed it up all. It can speed up skin cancer.

Sun Tan Lotion is simply another name for Sun Screen.
The only way to tan quicker is to go without and expose yourself. Please note that a deep tan is direct evidence of tissue damage. A little colour is fine...alot of colour is dangerous.

Just use the instant skin bronzer, that way you get the results with no harmful effects as you GRADUALLY get some sun.

you probably just have "thick" skin, try going in the water more. (reflection off the water will tan you-- or at least it works for me.)
