Well, when people ask what I study, and I tell them, they are often confused as to what it actually is. So in my experience, not all that many folks.

I know what is. Botany is good stuff, I've always enjoyed studying plants. People that are kind to plants and animals are usually good people. Watch out for the guy that stomps flowers and kicks puppies!
