1 cup of apple cider vinegar in a cool bath will calm the skin and help alleviate the pain.
Cool milk on a rag will do the same.
Get thee to some aloe vera gel with an anesthetic in it already for a few bucks at the store. Be sure to read the label to see if there is an anesthetic in it. Most of them have it.
Good luck!

Go to your local tanning salon and get, Insurance, It's a blue after sun gel that stops the pain instantly. It's like $14 but nothing else works. It's made by California tanning line.I live in Florida so burns and tans are frequent and so is trying to to find good tanning products. But I stopped when i found this.It stops the pain, you'll barely peel, and it's not sticky like aloe.It also prolongs the tan after the burn. :)

Go to the store or CVS and get a box of oatmeal and put it in your bathtub and sit in it for about 20 minutes. Do that everyday till it gets better. It really works. I had bad sun burn and I couldnt even walk but when I used that I got better fast. Good Luck!!

ok first make sure that u dont go in the sun unprotected. if u need to put SPF 15-50 sunblock on. ok to treat ur sunburn take Aloe Vera on ur sunburn. It will cool u off and helps the sun burn. though it does smell a little when its in organic plant form.

Don't put normal body cream.
Put some gel like aloe vera to relieve sun burn & pain.
Heavy cream only serves to intensify pain.
I got a nasty experience before.

They used to sell a gel that was almost pure aloe. Or you may be able to get an aloe leaf and cut the "skin" off the flat side and rub the gel inside the leaf on your burn. If unavailable, get a moisturizer with aloe and slather it on.

put some witch hazel on it, you can buy it in liquid form at the drug store. It will relieve some of the pain and not lock in the burn like lotion will. Aloe Vera works very well too but it is sticky.

Put Aloe Vera cream on your burn. That should make it heal faster.
I wouldn't lie to your mom, though. Tell her what happened and that you simply forgot. It's better to be honest. You might get in trouble, but you'd get in more trouble if you lied and she found out. Best of luck.
