I prefer that neither side wins. I hope manufacturers develop drives that can read both format. This battle between competing formats is just silly and doesn't take the consumer's interests into account.

Sony's blue ray has the advantage now because they are have basically given out a free player with the purcahse of a playstation 3. Blockbuster has also announced that they will not stock any new HD-DVD's and will continue to stock the blue rays and only offer the HD-DVDs they currently have in inventory.
