Today I had a simple turkey sandwich on low-fat white bread, with some grapes, Baked Lays, and a 100 calorie pack of brownies.
It was about 600 calories and my breakfast was about 150. Which is just about perfect! On a 2,000 cal. diet I have about 1300. left for the rest of the day

bread is about 100 calories a slice, stick some meat on there and lots of veggies and ur not too bad off. avoid the chz if u can.
most soups are about 320 calories, so find some u like and nibble on some carrots or fruit.
i love rice cakes....2 of them dipped in natural peanut butter and something fun on the side to eat ,and thats just plain yum.

I love eating a salad plate, I hate ice burg lettuce, so I chop tomatoes, cucumber, carrots, and serve with cottage cheese and chopped ham. For dessert I have a small portion of low fat yogurt with a few chopped walnuts and a big glass of water. The combination of proteins and complex carbs fills you up, but also lasts without the nasty crash that comes from simpler carbs. Sometimes I skip the carrots with my lunch but eat them through the afternoon at my desk.

Ok what is really good is a salad, then have a nice cold water to drink and then afterwards if you want a dessert then you have a popsicle they are very low in calories and sodium, or make a cherry or strawberry cheesecake and use low cal ingredients...

A grilled chicken salad. Lo-cal dressing on the side. Dip your fork into the dressing, then into the salad. You get the flavour of the dressing without having the salad swim in it. It's high protein, lo-cal. Try to stay away from croutons and chick peas, they are high in fat and carbs. Most croutons are fried regardless of what they tell you, and if they are baked, they usually put something greasy in with them that is high in fat.

I have to cook for a disabled person and I read labels on the food packages. I'm not that much concerned with calories, but look for fat and cab content. Read labels.

Mixed greens for a salad with skinless cooked chicken breast and fresh veggies with low cal dressing, yogurt and a peice of fruit with water or low cal/skim milk.
