Normally there is an icon for it on the Start Menu, under the Programs, in the Accessories.

You can also create an icon by rightclicking on the desktop and selecting New > Shortcut. Browse to where the program is or type in: "C:\Program Files\Movie Maker\ moviemk.exe"
Name the icon "Movie Maker"
You should now have an icon for it on the desktop

Try going to your start bar and then Click All Programs. Windows movie maker is not in a folder and since you just installed it look at the last icon in your start bar menu....it should be there if it was installed.
