whats your favorite grocery store? and why?

i like my Vons because all the employees are nice and know me by name but think their overall prices are a little higher

Publix and Kroger are my favorites because they have good quality products and reasonable prices.

You do realize that a lot of stores are local to the area they are in, right? The whole of the United States does not have Vons. If I said I love HyVee and Fareway, would you even know what I'm talking about?

I go to the Honest Weight Food Co-Op because they have a huge selection of natural/organic/local foods. Also I am a member of the Co-Op, which means I own one share of the company. This gets me great discounts on food and gives me a sense of responsibility. I try to support my local farmers because it's good for the economy and the environment.

I shop at Safeway the majority of the time. It's cheap, they know me there, and it's close to home. But for selection I have to go to Albertsons, it's more expensive, and only a couple people know me as a regular. But I love the selection there.

Winn-Dixie, because I know where everything is, but they are way over priced. I use Sav-a-lot for all my produce needs, however they don't have a big variety in other areas.

Byerly's - A lot of different products and the food tends to be fresh. The downside though, is that it isn't the cheapest.

I shop at Von's also & everyone there is friendly.

Trader Joe's -great quality, reasonably priced, and small enough that you don't get lost.

HEB because they are cheaper.
