Calomile lotion, or u can go to a pharmacy and get a steroid skin cream E45 or something like that. They dont sell this off the shelf it help me with my baby's eczema and she actually does not scratch or cry because of the icthiness

Has he been using the same brand of soap, washing powder or household cleaner for the whole time? If so, change brands, look for something in the shops that is more natural and perfume free. Also look for cream that is the same.

Maybe a skin specialist can help. Also they should be able to do tests to find out why that is happening. A s it could be anything from reaction to certain chemicals, allergies etc..

I had a similar problem. A homeopathic doctor told me to get Pine Tar shampoo (available at supplement stores) and to use it as a body wash as well as shampoo, and to get a non-oil based moisturizer to use after washing. No more skin problems, your dad might try that.

There could be lots of reasons why your father has his skin problem ...you need to give more details about his itching like is it a rash and where does he itch the most etc

Try an over the counter lotion called Sarna Lotion. It helped me.
