i m intrsted in mechanical engineering bt ppl say it doesnt hav good scope, so should i opt for electronics and communication engineering

if you are interested in mechanical engineering then you should study something you have an interest in. Alot of the equations are the same in physical-
Such as the spring constant in physical world are pratically the same for lc circuit

Even electronics and communication has a fairly narrow scope. You might consider a more general Electrical Engineering degree, which has a broader scope and includes electronics and communications. Find a university that has an electrical engineering department with a specialty in communications engineering.

If youre drawn to robotics, mechatronics (mechanical + electronics) is the sector to decide for. even with the undeniable fact that, few faculties and universities supply courses in mechatronics, wherein case electronics and communications may well be the appropriate decision.

Communications was good to me,but u need a lot of computer now days. Time is fast approaching when every thing will c connect to a computer.
