It's great to live in a NO income tax state. I recommend it!

I think the reason people like us are so fed up with taxes is that we are basically forced to support things we don't believe in. For example, I own a house. I worked my fanny off to gt this house and have to pay $1200 per month to pay back the loan to buy my house. From time to time, I need to make repairs to my house and depending on what it is, I might have to work overtime to raise the money for that. Now, 2 blocks down there is a person who is living in a section 8. She is a single mother with 3 children all from different men. She gets public assistance to help pay her electric, heat, and food. And, she doesn't work even though she's physically able. What pisses me off is that I have to work extra time which means less free time for me to spend with my family so I take take care of me and mine yet this person feels she doesn't have to work at all but it's my tax money she is living off of. In other words, the government is taking my hard earned money and just handing it over to this lazy slob and if I don't pay these taxes, I go to jail. Nice system, huh?

Sorry for the rant but as you can see I'm beyond frustrated.

Honestly, I don't care if someone else wants to keep on paying income taxes to the IRS. But I have another question for you along these lines. Suppose you knew precisely how to eliminate both public debt and ALL FORMS OF TAXATION and still pay for government services. And you knew exactly how to make that public policy a reality. Would you be for it or against it?

I had an $80 state tax bill due and didn't pay it...2 years later they attached my wages and took $1,500 over a 2 month period. During that time I was only making 2k a month! I almost lost my apartment and my car because of this... So, now I pay my taxes on time...

You are so right when it comes to income tax. I feel the Fair Tax is a great system for all class levels. If you are not familiar with it they have a site.

I always thought these standoffs were silly. But seeing the way taxes are nowadays we all need to stand up and be counted, they can't arrest us all.

If my neighbor says,"I'll protect your property for $1,000 a year". And you don't agree saying," I'll protect my own property, thank you."

And your neighbor somehow takes $1,000 of your wealth from you every year, and says,"see I protected you, you owe me the $1,000".

Isn't that considered stealing?

The framers of the Constitution were all land owners, and figured other ways besides individual taxation to raise money to run a """SMALL""" government.

Believe me when I say it can be done, and the people of New Hampshire have a pending bill in the state congress that could possibly affect the entire USA if passed.

Thank you!

Note to Zero 1:
I'd be for it ! Please explain.
