And what is the point of seeking god. I saw someone answer a question with 'Seek god and everything will be revealed to you'

Most of the world has been wasting their lives seeking god and they still can't find him.

Don't you know your not supposed to say things like that. Sounds like your thinking to me and we all know the bible bashers don't like that.

Can you provide basis for your statement that "Most of the world has been wasting their lives seeking god and they still can't find him"? Plenty of people have, according to subjective testimony, found Him.

Most people who seek God are interested in a relationship with their Creator, if He does indeed exist.

It may be difficult to find Him though if you initially assume that He doesn't exist.

His existence is beyond doubt to any rational, open-mided person. Use the brain God gave you, and don't prejudge the issue. If you are really interested in the Truth, and not your own ideas (or the ideas of those who are in revolt against God) of the truth, you will find what you seek and you will know without any doubt that God exists. The truth will set you free.
Love the Truth for truth's sake and all will be revealed.
Don't be hoodwinked by atheists who are not really interested in the truth, they will turn somersaults, use pseudo-science, circular reasoning, distort and disregard natural laws, and indulge in sarcastic ridicule and abuse of believers, in their attempts to justify their illogical beliefs.

Truth to such people is a dirty word because they fear it.

Seek truth in this open-minded way and you will easily find God.

Seek simply means to look for. People throughout the ages have looked for things that never existed. How about the Golden fleece, the Promised Land, The Ark, El Dorado, Atlantis, the Holy Grail. There's no end.
You certainly can seek - - - but you won't find.

Right on ....

Seek and ye shall find, (everything except that which doesn't exist.)

In order to claim that one has found God, it is primary to have skill at being either a great fool or a good liar.

Look in the mirror and think that if there is a God, what does he see. Think of the times you've done things you knew were wrong, we all have, ALL, and think of a loving God dying to pay for what you have done against him, because all sin is against God. You're asking about seeking, seek him by the thoughts you allow yourself to think, and see how you are avoiding him by the thoughts you don't allow your self to think. Think about him nailed to a cross and seeing you down the corridor of time receiving his love for you and being grateful for making a way for you to realize the forgiveness for those who turn from their sin and turn to God.

You don't need to "seek" him. Just believe in him. Or so some say.

It is just a belief. It's like Christians saying, "How can you believe evolution if it doesn't exist?" some people believe in some things others don't. Don't criticize just because you don't understand another person's point of view.
