Although Vienna is the one in the works, i hope they release a Vista 2.0 or something much sooner than the typical 3 yrs..... I'm not a fan of Vista at all, I tried it on my bro's computer and, among other things, the relentless "are you sure you want to allow this" kind of dialog boxes drive me nuts!!
Not to mention Microsoft had the idiotic idea to NOT make Vista completely backwards compatible with ealier versions of programs....
And i highly doubt that anyone alive today will live to see the last version of windows released...

the next 1 is code named Vienna and is to be released much sooner than Vista was, like around 2010.
