I understand that you are from Santa Elena, Roatan but if you commit a crime in another country you will probably be prosecuted the same as a regular citizen of that country.

Hard to understand your question. If you are in another country, and commit a crime, you are under the laws of that country. If you get arrested on Roatan, you will have to go through the Honduras police and possibly appear in front of a judge.

It doesn't matter if you are a US citizen or whatever, you can still go to a Honduran jail for something, just like anyone else.
