I know Cessna has a plant in Kansas - I have a friend that works in HR there - but I'm not sure about Missouri. The KS plant is in Independence Kansas, fairly close to the border.

No, Cessna's main office is in Wichita, KS. Their single engine planes are made in their plant in Independence, KS.

no, what you probably saw was a cessna service center. they have one of the largest service networks of any manufacturer.
