me and my dad are working on my 1986 ford mustang it has a 5.0 ingen in it and we were on a working streak and then all of a sudden he just stopped and nowhe doesnt even wanna work on it anymore how do i get him to work on it with me????

There has to be a reason. You might know what it is, hopefully you do. You might try working on it yourself, and if you run into a problem then go to your dad and ask him for a hand. That might get him involved with it again.
He could be in over his head and not know what to do next, or he may not have the money for parts. Maybe your Mom is giving him a hard time about the time he spends working in the garage.
As a last resort, just ask him what the problem is.

ask your mother some questions about working on the car in front of your dad that you know she knows,or just have your mom help,my ex wife knew more about cars than i did and most men as well
